Medical Director
Dr. Soumya Bollampally received her undergraduate degree in Health and Societies from the University of Pennsylvania, earned her medical degree from Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency year at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Upon completing her residency, she completed her Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and became an instructor at the Division of Geriatric Medicine. In 2016 she became an Assistant Professor working in Primary Care Geriatrics and Post-Acute Care. Additionally, working at the Penn Memory Center and Penn Presbyterian’s Inpatient ACE unit.
Dr. Bollampally is board certified in internal and geriatric medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care. In 2019 she made the change to entirely Post-Acute Care, working for Genesis Physician Services and then ProMedica Senior Care as the Medical Director. In January 2023 she transitioned to Virtua Health’s Post-Acute Services.
Pulmonary Program
Dr. John Bermingham is a pulmonologist in Marlton, New Jersey, and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area. He has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine. He was educated at La Salle University, Temple School of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, etc.

Palliative Care Physician
Dr. Stephen Goldfine, MD, DABFP, CAQGM, DABHP, is a board-certified palliative care physician with more than 30 years of experience. Since 2003, he has served as Samaritan’s chief medical officer. Dr. Goldfine oversees the care of the nearly 11,000 patients served by Samaritan each year through hospice care, palliative medicine, and primary care at home. In addition to his senior leadership role, Dr. Goldfine serves as Samaritan’s liaison with the medical community and provides direct care for patients at home, at hospitals, and in long-term care communities. Dr. Goldfine is certified by both the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the American Board of Family Practice, with added qualifications in geriatrics and hospice and palliative medicine. Dr. Goldfine received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta.
